Lucy’s Confections

During the pandemic, siblings Monica and Omar decided to launch their personalized cookie shop. This venture combined their love of food with Omar's graphic design skills, aiming to generate extra income. To their surprise, they found viral success on Etsy and started working overtime in their friends' kitchens to meet the high demand. Realizing they needed a better solution, they began exploring commercial kitchen options. They started with Nimbus on a short-term contract to see how it would fit into their routine. Eventually, they found success working in the baking suite at Nimbus Downtown Brooklyn. The flexibility of the kitchen rentals allowed them to increase production during busy seasons like the holidays and scale back during slower periods.
